  • Lisa Karas / Paralegal

    Lisa Karas

    Lisa is the senior paralegal at the firm and supports all of the attorneys in various areas of the practice which consists of gathering and reviewing client documents, medical records and discovery, pleading and correspondence preparation, contract drafting, conducting research, managing case scheduling and court filing. She also manages the Probate practice of the firm. Lisa began her tenure with MMFL in 2005. She graduated from the University of Akron with an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies.

  • René Lincicome / Paralegal

    René Lincicome

    René was born and raised in the Canton area and maintains a paralegal position at our Canton office. She joined MMFL on May 1, 2013. She has worked in the legal field for more than 25 years, and is familiar with many fields of law, but specializes in domestic relations. She also taught paralegal courses at a local technical college for three years. René is responsible for maintaining the Canton office, creating client files, transcribing, drafting documents, court contact, file pleadings with a variety of courts, and assisting in all aspects of preparing a case for hearing and/or trial.

  • Jaclyn Myers / Paralegal

    Jaclyn graduated from Perry High School and obtained an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and Business Administration at Stark State College. She joined MMFL in March of 2018 and brings with her over 10 years of experience in various fields of law. Jaclyn assists with the medical malpractice attorneys, transcription and drafting documents, billing/accounting, legal filing, requesting and reviewing records, and assisting in all aspects of preparing a case for hearing and/or trial. Jaclyn has distinguished herself through her work ethic, courteousness, and helpfulness with all aspects of supporting our team at MMFL.

  • Sophie Saracina / Billing Manager

    Sophie Saracina

    Sophie Saracina was born and raised in the Canton area. She joined the firm as our accounting manager on June 30, 2014. Sophie has 15 years of experience in the legal field in the departments of accounting, billing, and collections management. Prior to her career in the legal profession, she worked for many years as a group medical insurance agent. She received her Associate's Degree from Columbus Technical College.

  • Bradley Van Tyne

    Bradley Van Tyne

    Brad is a 2017 Graduate of the College of Wooster with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. While at Wooster, Brad competed nationally on the second-best undergraduate Moot Court team in the Nation. For the Firm, he performs a variety of tasks, such as, organizing electronic client files, meeting with clients, filing documents at the local Courts, resolving all in house technology issues, and aiding in the research and drafting of documents. Brad intends on pursuing his law degree while at the Firm.

  • Carolyn McCune / Nurse Consultant

    As a graduate of the Aultman Hospital School of Nursing and Kent State University Carolyn joined the firm in 2018 as a Nurse Consultant. Carolyn has 40 years of nursing experience in the areas of: Intensive Care, Labor & Delivery and the Emergency Department. She has been teaching or been involved in nursing education for the last 30 years. She has certifications as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner and as a Certified Emergency Nurse. Carolyn also works as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and screens survivors of Domestic Violence.
