Lisa Karas

Lisa is the senior paralegal at the firm and supports all of the attorneys in various areas of the practice which consists of gathering and reviewing client documents, medical records and discovery, pleading and correspondence preparation, contract drafting, conducting research, managing case scheduling and court filing. Lisa began her tenure with MMFL in 2005. She graduated from the University of Akron with an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies. She is also licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance, and Life and Health Insurance and is a Notary Public for the State of Ohio.

Lisa is a Board member of the nonprofit The Domestic Violence Victim Defense Fund, Inc. and also the founder of the nonprofit The Fur Baby Foundation, Inc.

Lisa is married to her husband John and they have two dog children, Simba and Frankie.
